Catching up

Sorry All for the lack of updates - we've been dealing with Colic - busy school season for Rick - and life in general - things are good though! Niko is now 15 pounds - 25 inches - his pro SUMO career is sealed - or his pro wrestling career - needless to say Lindsay is tired - growing a giant takes a lot of breastfeeding - she's a hero!

So the smiles have started and are very welcome to see - it could be related to the fact that brother Rick has been teaching Niko to play video games, maybe it's the nice baths he's been getting, or maybe it's the good grandparent time Niko has been getting... -of course - our family has been a big help - and we TEASE with these sleepy pictures - -and of course there are pictures of the parents asleep with the baby - but since we are publishing this blog - those photos may remain in the vaults....but we are super greatful for all of the help, cards, food, and emotional support everone has given us - THANKS!!!

Niko got a visit by his grandfather Davis , and wife Anne and dog Heaven, - - Lindsay's mom has been helping a ton while Lindsay is in class and work - -Lindsay's cousins Emma and Meg stopped by with Carol - and our wondeful neighbors the Bonilla family have been a great help - Jose is pictured - and his brother Mikey holds Niko every chance he can ! - They are great examples to Rick of how to be good older brothers -
